Although Verloren is a very competent mage, the experimental nature of his work leaves a lot of room for mishaps. These incidents are normally frustrating, forcing him to review his procedures and redo everything again until he finds and fixes the problem, but at times, he'll be mildly amused instead. He does find it rather funny when the power of a craft is so great that it spirals out of control and causes a mild explosion.

His coworkers, startled, will glance at him at his corner of the magic chamber, laughing to himself while covered in blood or other necromagic components. Someone may ask what happened, to which he would reply, nonchalantly but with a somewhat ominous grin, “Oh, just a minor miscalculation..." as he'd then proceed to lick the blood dripping slowly into his mouth before getting right back to fixing his craft.
