Mulligan met Maya when he was chasing a lizard to take a pic of and ended up in the front gardens of Redsky Necro. She ended up referring him for a job position they were looking for and so he started working at Redsky Necro. He ended up having a crush on her after getting to know her better, but he's too afraid to tell her because he's pretty sure she wouldn't be interested in someone like him. She is completely oblivious to his crush.

Dmitri and Mulligan often share the same lab at work. They chat a bit, though it's usually Mulligan doing all of the talking. But despite occasionally feeling a bit overwhelmed by him, Dmitri thinks Mulligan is a good friend.

Mulligan hates his sister with a passion. He felt replaced as a child when she was born, and ever since then she will never stop being the center of attention and making him look bad. She's also incredibly careless and thinks she can just come to his house whenever she wants and mess with his pets. Mulligan will never forgive her for the time she dropped his snake Noodle and injured some of her scales.

Noodle was Mulligan's first pet. He got her when she was still a tiny little python noodle, and he loves her very much. Despite being just a feran snake, she does seem to enjoy being around him.

Gabby is Mulligan's pet leopard gecko. He loves being let out of his tank to explore the couch.

Corbin was rescued by Mulligan when he was a hatchling. He found the baby pigeon close to the building where he lives and couldn't find a nest or parents nearby, so he took him in and kept him.
