He's her best friend, but also greatest rival. They met when Seir was taken as an apprentice by her father, and they both started to study together. She hated him because he was very quick to learn but very stuck-up about it, which led to many fights between them. But they've learned to tolerate each other, to the point where they often collaborate on magic crafts. They turned out to be excellent lab partners.

Mylos is a friend from Luthenfold who she met at a wizard convention. They talk mostly through text messages, but he sometimes comes to Redsky for questionable magic-related business and they hang out at the College grounds.

Skyler likes her dad but ended up developing a somewhat distant relation since he's been primarily her private magic teacher for a long time before he retired to follow his research far away. Tallon really loves her and wanted to be able to see her more but he needs to be away to do his research.

Margulis was always very distant, and when Skyler was about 8 years old she left to never be seen again, chasing her research on an unknown location. Skyler feels a little bit resentful for having been abandoned but is mostly neutral about her mom. Margulis loved her daughter, but her research was more important.

Tassel was taken in by Skyler's dad under temporary care, but the young gryphon ended up bonding with Skyler. Tassel's owner and breeder, a friend of her dad's, was surprised to learn of this, since this youngling had been having trouble socializing with anyone, especially lucans. When it was time to give Tassel back along with a couple other gryphons they were caring for, the shy gryphon called for Skyler with a sad, loon-like call. Tallon decided to buy Tassel to keep them together, and they've been best friends ever since.

Magpie is a little kitten Skyler draws since she was a kid. She'd often express her feelings through drawings of the cat, so she eventually embraced her as a represention of herself. She has a place on the internet where she posts her drawings as "MagpieCat" with no context and without giving away her true identity. Sometimes the kitty is seen interacting with other characters who are usually representations of other people, such as Wolf the raven, who is her version of a certain someone she kinda despises.

A necklace her mom gave her. One of the few things she has to remember her vanished mom from. The one thing that makes her realize she does care about her mom.

This fox was the first wild creature Skyler used for magic, found sickly near her house. As to not waste the pelt and skull she didn't use in the craft, she decided to stuff it with her dad's assistance to keep it. Due to her inexperience, she ruined the face and one leg in the process, but she liked it anyway.
